Parking bay monitoring system

Bay monitoring provides a visual indication to a driver of the location of an empty parking space. Sensors located in the unit above each space switch on an LED array when the space is empty. The system is networked to a central computer allowing intelligent control of signage to further aid navigation.

This system was specially developed to meet BAA's requirements for the new 3800 space car park built as part of the Heathrow terminal 5 development. Works Design provided product design and project management for the system, the visual look of which played a key role in Highlight Parking Systems being awarded the contract by BAA.
